In case you haven’t heard, a man was trampled to death Friday at a Wal-Mart in NY by the crowd outside as he opened the door to let them in. Although tragedies like this are becoming more and more common, it still amazes me to see this type of reprobate action on the part of people in this country and others as well. This is the height of self-centered greed and we are seeing more of it each day. The article which I read was on AOL. It was reported that some of the people had been waiting since Thursday (Thanksgiving) morning for the store to open. Evidently getting their little toys was more important than the Thanksgiving holiday. Then when the people were asked to leave, because of the investigation prompted by the death, they refused. They yelled that they had been waiting in line since the previous morning and they continued to shop.
Here is what I say about it. If they think bargains and toys are that important, just wait until the Tribulation starts and there is global famine. They won’t be so concerned about toys then. The incident at Wal-Mart won’t hold a candle to what will be happening during that time. And according to the signs we are seeing today, that period of time is not far in the future…

An SS man approached me, boots clicking against the cobblestones. He looked me up and down, and then asked my age.

If you scour the Internet, you will find many people googling questions about Obama being the Anti-Christ. Some errant people without a knowledge of the book of Daniel and Reveleation try to concoct all sorts of associations of Obama with characteristics of the Anti-Christ in the Bible. If you are trying to identify who the Anti-Christ might be, you’ll have to wait until after the Rapture to find out. Hopefully you won’t be here on Earth to do so. If you study the book of Daniel, you will find that he arises out of the Roman ethnic group. In the vision of Daniel chapter two, the ten toes mixed with iron and clay represents a revived version of the ancient Roman Empire. The books of Daniel and Revelation are, to say the least, hard to understand. However, many symbols in Revelation are explained elsewhere in the Bible. The study of prophecy is not something you are going to understand in a few evenings of readings on the subject. It is however, understandable and will become more so the closer we get to the end time events. I can’t stress enough the importance of such a study. The more you learn about end time events, the more you will understand what is really happening in the world today and how the events relate to the future of Christians and the world. I read a lot on the web about how Christian history is filled with Christians killing others. This is sometimes used to compare the Christian religion with Islam. People who state this many times use it as an excuse not to become a Christian. I would like to straighten some things out here. Most people who make such statements are ignorant of not only what a true Christian is, but also about religious history. Let’s take for example the idea that Christians killed others in the Dark Ages since many times this is the history to which such people are referring. During this era, the Catholic church was in power politically. It is true that they did kill people. Also, the history of the Crusaders is filled with tales of war and murder. Keep in mind however, that just because a person calls themselves a Christian does not make it so. The so called “Church” during that time was made up of a lot of religious people who “called” themselves Christians. That does not mean they were. When Constantine decided to conquer the world in the name of Christianity, he basically poured water on his soldiers and called them Christians. This does not make a person a Christian anymore than taking a bath makes a person a Christian. Only by believing in Jesus Christ as Savior does one become a Christian. So here we have people calling themselves such who weren’t and also we have true believers during this time. If one reads Foxe’s Book of Martyrs, he will find that the so called Christian church spent a lot of time murdering true Christians who would not abide by the teachings of the Catholic Church which was then in power. So if you read your histoy books, you will find that not only Muslims and others were killed, by the “Church”, but true Christians were murdered as well. The Christian religion teaches that murder is wrong. People need to realize that killing in the name of Christianity was never taught in the Bible, which is our basis of faith and living.

Does this mean a Christian cannot commit murder? No, Christians too can commit murder, but that does not mean Christians believe in murder nor do they condone it. To criticize the Christian faith, just because some people who may or may not be Christians commit murder, is not valid. That would be like saying all college professors teach murder just because one professor murders someone. It is a totally illogical and irrational argument. It is true there are some misguided Christian ignoramuses who think they are justified in killing innocent individuals. But that is not the teaching of Christianity. And non-Christians should not condemn Christians or the Christian religion because of the acts of certain individuals.

There are certain situations in which the Bible does condone killing. One is killing in self defense, another is during war, and yet another is the execution of certain criminals by the government.

People who criticize the Christian religion because of the acts of certain individuals who call themselves Christians need to do a little research and apply some basic logical reasoning before they start condemning all Christians. To do otherwise just shows their ignorance.

The stupidity and moral reprobation of our elected officials never ceases to amaze me. The Colorado legislature has just passed a bill which has been signed into law by the Governor. This bill allows sexual predators to take advantage of the confusion caused by it to endanger woman and children in public and school restrooms. Read more…

When Americans are canceling vacations because gasoline is over $4.00 per gallon, Democrats plan to adjourn work for a month-long vacation the first of August WITHOUT holding a vote to drill for American oil.

This is inexcusable.

I know you’ll agree with me that there should be no recess without voting on legislation that can help lower gas prices.

No wonder the new Gallup Poll this week that shows Congress’s approval rating has slipped to an all-time low of 14%. It’s not hard to figure out why.

The Democrat Majority in Congress is putting their extremist ideology ahead of common-sense solutions to bring down the price of gas and reduce our dependence on foreign energy sources in unstable regimes.

If you are as outraged as I am, I need you to do 2 things:
