Check With God
By John K. Small
Images In Glass
I was working for a security company at a temporary post. It was in an eight-story condo building, in an underground garage. My responsibilities involved checking in guests, giving them a visitor pass and assigning them a parking space. It was boring and most of my time was spent sitting on an uncomfortable bar stool, staring at a sign located across from my post. The sign read, “Stop Check With Guard Before Proceeding”. One evening, while staring at that sign, with no other thought in my mind, the word guard appeared to me as God. I suddenly realized that there was a message there. I often have been guilty of making a “snap decision” in a moment of anger, passion, stupidity, or wracking my brain for days, worrying about what to do to solve a problem, whatever the situation. Instead, I should have been going to God in prayer and letting Him give me guidance and direction. This is a powerful message, and I believe God brought me to that place and showed me that message for a reason.

The God of Absoluteness
By Jack Kinsella – Omega Letter Editor
Excerpts:
“The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God.” (Psalms 14:1). It seems rather harsh to call someone ‘a fool’ for what at first glance appears to be ignorance.
A person who doesn’t know God is clearly ignorant, since the word “ignorance” means ‘not knowing’. Ignorance is not a pejorative, although it is often hurled as an insult.
Babies are ignorant. People are ignorant of those things they haven’t either discovered for themselves or been taught by others. But the Bible uses instead the word, ‘fool’ which means, “a person who acts unwisely or imprudently.”
The word ‘fool’ is independent of educational background or innate mental acuity. And by its application, it means ‘only the unwise and imprudent would say there is no God’.
…There are five unassailable arguments that demand the existence of God, not the least of which is the ontological argument offered in Romans 1:20.
Speaking Plainly
By Jack Kinsella – Omega Letter Editor
“These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.” (John 16:26)
If there is a single word that permeates every discussion on virtually every topic of interest, particularly in the United States, that word would be fear.
Fear so palpable that politicians can mold it like putty, reshape it and use it to sell a fearful public pretty much anything.
Obama uses fear like a tool – in his world, the reason the Democrats lost the mid-terms was because the voters were too fearful or too intellectually challenged to understand his agenda.
But there are plenty of legitimate reasons for fear, not the least of which is President Obama himself. His policies, both foreign and economic, are terrifying to anyone not too fearful of being called a racist or too intellectually challenged not to understand his agenda.
Flyer says his dosage of radiation from TSA scanner “felt” safe
Airlines were expecting major delays in the security lines at airports today due to the backlash of public opinion regarding the backscatter scanners at the checkpoints. For anyone who has been keeping up with the news there is quite a lot of controversy about how much radiation a person gets when they go through one of these scanners. Many people don’t have a clue as to what they are being exposed to as witnessed by one person’s remark:
“You just go in the scanner and it feels very safe,” said Will Simonini, 66, of St. Pete Beach, Florida, who was checked today as he headed to Philadelphia to see his son.
Evidently he is ignorant of what radiation really is. Perhaps he thought it was going to feel like electrocution or something. This just goes to show you the level of dumb acceptance by some of the general public regarding anything the government or anyone else tells them.

Iranian Pastor Accused of ‘Thought Crimes’ to Die by Hanging
By Michael Ireland
TEHRAN, IRAN (ANS) — An Iranian court has passed down a death sentence on a Christian pastor, who was found guilty of so-called “thought crimes.”
According to www.presenttruthmn.com, the official verdict has now been delivered in writing to Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, stating that he is to be hung for the crime of apostasy.
Spokesman Jason DeMars of Present Truth Ministries, says: “There are 20 days to appeal the verdict, and Youcef’s attorney is now beginning the process of the appeal.”
“Please pray for Youcef, that God would grant him peace and strength in this hour, that God would move on his behalf, and that he would be delivered! Pray also for his wife and children; this is extremely difficult for them.

Behold the Black Horse
By Jack Kelley
GraceThruFaith.com
When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!” (Rev. 6:5-6)
In answer to a recent question, I made the comment that early signs of the coming Seal Judgments are beginning to appear. This does not mean I believe we’re in the beginning of Daniel’s 70th week. It means I can see signs that it’s not far off, which means the rapture of the Church is even closer.
Although I believe the Seal judgments will be sequential, I don’t think the signs of their coming will necessarily be in order. Some have different run-up periods than others. For example, we know the first seal says that a man will suddenly appear on the world scene. He’ll seem to be a peace maker but his real agenda will be to conquer the world. He’s the rider on the white horse. After him a rider on a red horse will appear, and war will soon follow as the true intent of the man on the white horse is revealed. These two judgments indicate that a man appears and quickly leads the world from a perception of peace to the reality of war. His rise to power has certainly been underway for some time even though no one knows who he is yet. But once his time comes, he’ll quickly have the whole world behind him. The point is, for the most part the run-up to the first two seals is invisible.
The third seal judgment, also known as the Black Horse, is different in that the run-up is visible and can be tracked. The rider on the black horse holds a pair of scales with which to measure the comparative value of money and food. Changes in the relationship between the two can be tracked, allowing us to make a good guess as to how close we’re getting. This relationship is the topic of our study today.
Repeal the 26th Amendment!
By Ann Coulter
Jimmy Carter was such an abominable president we got Ronald Reagan, tax cuts, a booming economy and the destruction of the Soviet Union.
Two years of Bill Clinton and a Democratic Congress got us the first Republican Congress in half a century, followed by tax cuts, welfare reform and a booming economy –- all of which Clinton now claims credit for.
Obama’s disastrous presidency has already produced Republican senators from Massachusetts, Wisconsin and Illinois; New Jersey’s wonder-governor Chris Christie; and the largest House majority for Republicans since 1946.
We deserve more. Clinton only threatened to wreck the health care system; Obama actually did it. We must repeal the 26th Amendment.
Adopted in 1971 at the tail end of the Worst Generation’s anti-war protests, the argument for allowing children to vote was that 18-year-olds could drink and be conscripted into the military, so they ought to be allowed to vote.
But 18-year-olds aren’t allowed to drink anymore. We no longer have a draft. In fact, while repealing the 26th Amendment, we ought to add a separate right to vote for members of the military, irrespective of age.
As we have learned from ObamaCare, young people are not considered adults until age 26, at which point they are finally forced to get off their parents’ health care plans. The old motto was “Old enough to fight, old enough to vote.” The new motto is: “Not old enough to buy your own health insurance, not old enough to vote.”

Could God Really Love Me?
By Grant Phillips
Are you convinced that a Holy God could never love you? Many are.
To the contrary, some people ride high on the waves of egotism, either believing there is no God or they do not need God in their lives. These unfortunate souls seem to think their works, their education, their position in the community and/or church, and various other excuses make them a gift to God. This is not only sad, but tragic, because they can never know God until they see themselves as God sees them.
Smaller Government by Default
This election, the voters were heard. They want less spending and smaller government. Some pundits are now worried about a gridlocked Congress on a lot of issues. Personally I don’t think that is necessarily a bad thing. That in itself would give us the smaller government by way of less intrusion into our lives. Of course, they still have to clean up the mess the Dems left us in.
Full Spectrum Dominance: 8 Examples Of How The Government Is Attempting To Take Total Control Of Our Food, Our Health, Our Money And Even Our Dignity
Over the past several decades, no matter which political party has been in power the government has continued to become a larger part of our lives. These days many people are speaking of the “nanny state” that we have created, but the reality is far worse than that. The truth is that the government has become a gluttonous, out of control behemoth that is gobbling up everything in sight and that is attempting to exert full spectrum dominance over our lives. Today, the government seems to have an insatiable hunger to watch us, track us and control us. Now they even want to feel our private parts before we get on an airplane. No matter what politicians we send to Washington D.C., it just seems to get worse and worse. Anyone who still believes that we live in “the land of the free” is completely and totally delusional.
