As I travel this big old highway, Lord sit beside me on this day.

Guide me down this long lonely road
So I can safely deliver this heavy load.

And as I drive from dawn to dusk,
Keep my eyes clear from sun and dust.

Let me arrive safe and on time
Then we’ll do it again one more time.

And when I lay in my bunk this night,
Let me thank you Lord with all my might.

For Your love and guidance on this day,
As I traveled that big old highway.

For again tomorrow I’ll need you beside me,
To guide me down this big old highway
