In case you haven’t heard, a man was trampled to death Friday at a Wal-Mart in NY by the crowd outside as he opened the door to let them in. Although tragedies like this are becoming more and more common, it still amazes me to see this type of reprobate action on the part of people in this country and others as well. This is the height of self-centered greed and we are seeing more of it each day. The article which I read was on AOL. It was reported that some of the people had been waiting since Thursday (Thanksgiving) morning for the store to open. Evidently getting their little toys was more important than the Thanksgiving holiday. Then when the people were asked to leave, because of the investigation prompted by the death, they refused. They yelled that they had been waiting in line since the previous morning and they continued to shop.
Here is what I say about it. If they think bargains and toys are that important, just wait until the Tribulation starts and there is global famine. They won’t be so concerned about toys then. The incident at Wal-Mart won’t hold a candle to what will be happening during that time. And according to the signs we are seeing today, that period of time is not far in the future…

Word had gotten around that we were being moved. My father had only recently died from typhus, which had run rampant through the crowded ghetto. My greatest fear was that our family would be separated.

‘Whatever you do,’ Isidore, my eldest brother, whispered to me, ‘don’t tell them your age. Say you’re sixteen.

‘I was tall for a boy of 11, so I could pull it off. That way I might be deemed valuable as a worker.

An SS man approached me, boots clicking against the cobblestones. He looked me up and down, and then asked my age.

‘Sixteen,’ I said. He directed me to the left, where my three brothers and other healthy young men already stood.

If you scour the Internet, you will find many people googling questions about Obama being the Anti-Christ. Some errant people without a knowledge of the book of Daniel and Reveleation try to concoct all sorts of associations of Obama with characteristics of the Anti-Christ in the Bible. If you are trying to identify who the Anti-Christ might be, you’ll have to wait until after the Rapture to find out. Hopefully you won’t be here on Earth to do so. If you study the book of Daniel, you will find that he arises out of the Roman ethnic group. In the vision of Daniel chapter two, the ten toes mixed with iron and clay represents a revived version of the ancient Roman Empire. The books of Daniel and Revelation are, to say the least, hard to understand. However, many symbols in Revelation are explained elsewhere in the Bible. The study of prophecy is not something you are going to understand in a few evenings of readings on the subject. It is however, understandable and will become more so the closer we get to the end time events. I can’t stress enough the importance of such a study. The more you learn about end time events, the more you will understand what is really happening in the world today and how the events relate to the future of Christians and the world.
