Redistribution of wealth is nothing but socialism. That is what Obama wants for this country. If this takes place in our country, we’ll have all the lazy people riding on the coattails of the hard workers of this country. Redistribution of wealth rewards people for not working. It kills individual intiative. It is grossly unjust and unfair to the people who work hard to build their businesses and net worth. It is the enemy of capitalism, and capitalism, my friends, is what this country is based upon. Capitalism is one of the things which has made this country great. Why else do you think so many illegal immigrants are trying to gain access? Obama stands for and supports this kind of socialism. Next to our declining moral state, socialistic thinking like this is leading to our downfall as a nation. For those of you who don’t think Obama is a socialist, listen to the following interview:
Here is an email I recently received. Some of the verification links have since been removed from the web.
Remember the election in 2006?
Thought you might like to read the following:
A little over one year before this election:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.
Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:
1) Consumer confidence plummet;
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $4.10 a gallon;
3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);
4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;
6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
7) Food prices skyrocketing over 30% in 1 year.
A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. Like so many others her age,she considered herself to be a very liberal Democrat, and among other liberal ideals, was very much in favor of higher taxes to support more government programs, in other words redistribution of wealth. She was deeply ashamed that her father was a rather staunch Republican, a feeling she openly expressed. Based on the lectures that she had participated in, and the occasional chat with a professor, she felt that her father had for years harbored an evil, selfish desire to keep what he thought should be his. One day she was challenging her father on his opposition to higher taxes on the rich and the need for more government programs. The self-professed objectivity proclaimed by her professors had to be the truth and she indicated so to her father. He responded by asking how she was doing in school. Taken aback, she answered rather haughtily that she had a 4.0 GPA, and let him know that it was tough to maintain, insisting that she was taking a very difficult course load and was constantly studying, which left her no time to go out and party like other people she knew. She didn”t even have time for a boyfriend, and didn”t really have many college friends because she spent all her time studying.
Her father listened and then asked, “How is your friend Susan doing?”
She replied, “Susan is barely getting by. All she takes are easy classes, she never studies, and she barely has a 2.0 GPA. She is so popular on campus; college for her is a blast. She”s always invited to all the parties and lots of times she doesn”t even show up for classes because she”s too hung over.
Her wise father asked his daughter, “Why don”t you go to the Dean”s office and ask him to deduct 1.0 off your GPA and give it to your friend who only has a 2.0. That way you will both have a 3.0 GPA and certainly that would be a fair and equal distribution of GPA.”
The daughter, visibly shocked by her father”s suggestion, angrily fired back, “That”s a crazy idea, and how would that be fair! I”ve worked really hard for my grades! I”ve invested a lot of time, and a lot of hard work! Susan has done next to nothing toward her degree. She played while I worked my tail off!”
The father slowly smiled, winked and said gently, “Welcome to the Republican Party.”
If anyone has a better explanation of the difference between Republican and Democrat I”m all ears. THIS explains politics in simple terms that even a Democrat can understand.
Despicable! That is the only word for what AIG officials did after receiving an $85 billion emergency bailout loan from the Federal Reserve. They blew it on an extravagent $440,000 party! This is what your tax dollars are going for, people. Read the full details here, and then go to AFA and sign a petition telling your representatives, you are fed up with the way things are being run. Demand oversight on how this money is being spent. They passed the bailout plan in spite of the fact that the people of America are against it, and yet our representatives do as they please. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !
I just received this email from Don Wildmon at American Family Association and I strongly agree with it:
Dear Dave,
October 8, 2008
The upcoming election is the most critical election in the history of our nation. The very future of our nation’s foundation is at stake. Every person will be affected. If the liberals win, then our foundation will no longer be based on the traditional Judeo-Christian morality. It will gradually but assuredly be based on an ever shifting, ever moving foundation. If the liberals win, the damage can’t be stopped with elections two, four or forty years from now. America will forever be changed. We will keep seeing a gradual and growing hostility toward people of faith, especially Christians. The morals of our nation will continue to decline. Our children and grandchildren will pay the price.
In case you may think I’m a “the sky is falling” type of person, you should know: When it comes to predictions, I am a very reserved person. But not on this one. I cannot overstate the damage a liberal victory will do to our country. The upcoming election is the most important in the history of our nation. Yes, if the liberals win you will lose some of your religious freedoms and free speech rights. Churches and pastors will not be exempt. You will not be allowed to say certain things about a particular group. Every item of the homosexual agenda will be approved. All the laws protecting the unborn will be wiped away.
I cannot overemphasize the importance of the Nov. 4 election. That is why I urge you to vote and encourage your family members, friends, Sunday School class and church members to vote. America’s future – the future of your children and grandchildren – is at stake.
Sincerely,
Don

Here are my comments: Conservative Christians- GET OUT THERE AND VOTE !!
I’ve been around for a number of years and in my opinion, although all presidential elections are important, I don’t believe we have ever have had one as crucial as this one. Obama is just plain dangerous. And with a Democratic controlled Congress we WILL lose some of our freedoms if he is elected. Your vote will make a difference. Many politicians call themselves Christians, but the Bible says by their fruit, we will know whether or not they truely are. I think if you examine some of Obama’s fruit, you find, he falls short of what a Christian really is. Do a lot of praying before this election and if you are slanting towards Obama, ask God to give you the gift of discernment. This is one election, I think, where a lot of Christians could use it. Don’t be mislead by words. Put your Christian and moral principles before your wallet. I know a lot of us are hurting financially right now, but it is of the utmost importance to let Christian principles be your guide in this election. The liberal press has been trying to smear Palin because of her “inexperience”. I think they have it backward. Obama is the one you can call the “apprentice”. The press has made a lot about being “one heartbeat away from the Presidency”. They seem to think McCain is going to kick the bucket his first week in office. Even if that did happen (God forbid), I would much rather have Palin in the Oval office than Obama. Why? Because I can have faith in a Christian President who knows where to find the true source of wisdom-God.
